Why We Built This Site
Tennessee permits broad access to many court dockets and case files, but the custodian depends on the division. A docket is the running list of parties, filings, settings, and outcomes. Unicoi County Circuit Court Clerk Darren C. Shelton maintains several county divisions, while Clerk and Master Teresa W. Simerly maintains Chancery files. Trial courts schedule hearings and enter rulings. TNCRTInfo provides a statewide search layer, although Unicoi was not shown in the inspected live office selector.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are searched and read in Unicoi County
- Court dates and settings: how to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing date or setting
- Case lookups: how to run a case search by party name or case number through the statewide portal
- Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk of court
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to a Tennessee court, clerk, or state agency. Those limits matter:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results.
